Radeon HD 6990: A Silicon Masterpiece

Radeon HD 6990
For me one of the most expensive components of maintaining a cutting edge PC tower is the graphic card.  I have always stayed with ATI, I mean AMD...  Based on my history, it seems I upgrade the motherboard and CPU about every 8 months,  drives every year, monitors every 2 years, but maintaining the fastest graphic card is getting quite expensive.  Pictured above is the world's fastest graphic card.  I have yet to purchase it, but from hearing how Dave Erskine, the Senior Public Relations Manager for AMD is trash talking Nvidia, it seems worthy of owning this silicon masterpiece...

"So now I issue a challenge to our competitor: prove it, don’t just say it. Show us the substantiation. Because as it stands today, leading reviewers agree with ushere, here, here, and here that the AMD Radeon HD 6990 sits on the top as the world’s fastest graphics card."  Dave Erskine...
