Full Spectrum, interviews Kevin Karsch about synthetic objects inserted into photographs

The Full Spectrum, interviews Kevin Karsch, a computer science PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Very interesting methods for inserting synthetic objects into photographs without having access to the original location. By laying out a rough physical geometry of the scene and locations of light sources, amateurs can quickly add digital objects that retain the correct lighten properties within the original photo.
