Otzi the"Ice Man" lactose intolerant and quite unhealthy
THE "NEWS SCIENTIST"
"Ötzi, the "ice man" who lived in the Bronze Age, and whose body was found in the Italian Alps in 1991, had brown hair and eyes and was lactose intolerant...
Italian mummy has no living descendants, study says
Arrow killed "ice man" of 5,300 years, say scientists
Arrow killed "ice man" of 5,300 years, say scientists
These characteristics emerge from the mummy's DNA analysis by the team of Albert Zink, who belongs to the Institute for Mummies and the Iceman in Italy.
MCM6 gene mutations indicate that he could not digest the lactose found in milk. "The change in farming [in Europe] only occurred between 5,000 and 10,000 years ago and to digest the milk becomes an advantage," said Zink.
According to the researcher, Ötzi was also more likely to develop coronary heart disease. He was carrying a mutant gene that accounts for a 40% increase in the probability of having a cardiac risk.
In addition, your arteries, including the main aorta were calcified. A sign that they were clogged with fat."

Maserati's Quattroporte Sport Package
At a recent launch and charity event here in Tribecca... Need for Speed... The Sport package is so tempting with it's custom alloy wheels. The GT maintains the same 4.7-liter V8 engine that puts out 440hp and 361lb-ft of torque and is equipped with the 'super-fast' MC Auto Shift software for the six-speed ZF automatic transmission. Maserati's Sport package also boasts a new exhaust system that, when in 'Sport mode', keeps the bypass valves fully agape giving the exhaust a large note. The Maserati GT Sport package can get you from 0-62mph in five seconds and can hit a top speed of 183mph

For the last ten years I've grown used to the Oscars referring to Kodak Theatre as to where they are hosted... Now that Kodak and the bankruptcy lawyers agreed to stop their annual $4million payment to keep the Kodak name on the venue... The owner of the building wants all references to Kodak removed...

It appears that the faster-than-light neutrino results, announced last September by the OPERA collaboration in Italy, was due to a mistake after all. A bad connection between a GPS unit and a computer may be to blame.

World's oldest working Seagate drive in the UK
"Seagate reckons it has found the oldest working Seagate disk drive in the UK: a 28-year-old ST-412 disk drive from 1983.
It is the drive for an old IBM PC, which booted up when it was brought down from owner Mitch Hansen's attic in his Ruislip house. The 5.25-inch disk has four platters, eight read and write heads, spins at 3,600rpm, weighs 2.1kg (4.1lbs) and holds just 10MB of data. Seagate says it would have cost £263 back in 1983."

Ferrari F2012/150° Italia - Radical New Air Package - Ugly
Words can't describe how ugly the new package is... oh how i miss the years of the beautiful unrestricted areo designs... distant memories of large tail fins and sculptured nose packages...
The new F2012 is so visually unappealing that it better at least perform above its competition
