New Photos Suggest NFC is On Its Way to the New iPhone

In a few weeks (post iPhone 5 release) I will either be the owner of a Galaxy S3  or iPhone 5.  That is if there's a choice after Apple is trying to band most of the Samsung lineup.  Cool news is they are upgrading officially to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean- though that really comes as no surprise to Mobile Magazine

james glieck "'the information' a history, a theory , a flood" the first so-called digital transmission of information

interesting tidbit from james glieck "'the information' a history, a theory , a flood" the first so-called digital transmission of information - (i.e. the telegraph using Morse code) some clients would be upset when they later returned and saw the message that they wrote down still in the telegraph office.  People where so used to the fact that the physical letter carried the information and not just the content of the letter could be transmitted...

Think of a Landing Page as more like a Bounce Page

After spending your budget on Google and keywords... The potential customer finally discovers your website.  Within seconds two things happen.  They either bounce back to Google to continue their search or they bounce to a competitor site that they have opened in other tab.  But if they last for more than a few seconds on your 'Landing Page'... your hope now is that they bounce to your 'Call to Action Section or Page'... Simple click insight.. Buttons over links

If you have the option, image buttons have higher click rates then pure links.  Many recent studies on the proper mix of text overlaying images have shown this format has the highest cognitive recall and call to action.

There are countless tests that show an increase in CTR anywhere from 20% - 200% over the control where text links were used.   details  on button fatigue
